Prof. Dr. Besa Shahini, Full Professor at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana since 1999, holds a Ph.D. in Economy and specializes in finance, statistics, and socio-economic research. Her work focuses on economic development, foreign trade, and donor assistance effectiveness, with a strong commitment to Albania’s European integration. She has led and contributed to numerous EU-funded projects, publishing widely on socio-economic development and quantitative methods. Prof. Shahini is highly regarded for her expertise in data analysis and trade policy, serving on COST Action Management Committees and various academic boards. She also mentors PhD students, chairs conferences, and promotes international academic cooperation.
